Wedding Photographer Munich – After sharing the first part of Anneliese and Max’s wedding with you yesterday, today I’m excited to share the celebration of their wedding with you.
As a wedding photographer in Munich, I spent two wonderful days capturing the most beautiful moments of Anneliese and Max’s celebration.

Anneliese and Max decided to officially get married on one day, and the very next day, they picked flowers in the morning, decorated everything, and celebrated their wedding with their loved ones in a relaxed and beautiful way.

One thing I have to mention right away is my two favorite highlights of the celebration: First, I’ve never been to a cooler Getting Ready location (I’m still smiling because it was so colorful and extraordinary!). And second, I’ve never eaten a wedding cake as delicious as the one at this wedding (it was a dream)! It would be an understatement to say that this wedding was already one of my favorites of 2018 just because of these two aspects.

But the wedding celebration was so much more than that. Anneliese and Max threw a stylish event where their warmth and emotions practically embraced their guests, allowing them to partake in their love. I had already sensed this after the emotional ceremony the day before. I photographed Anneliese’s Getting Ready, and as a wedding photographer in Munich, I felt incredibly honored to capture such beautiful moments in pictures. One particularly special moment was when Anneliese’s bridesmaids saw her for the first time as a bride, and they were speechless. Moments like these are rare, and a picture of these reactions can be so meaningful—maybe one or two years later, when you no longer remember it in detail. I think this kind of spontaneous shot is one of the main reasons couples want their wedding photographed.

On the day of the celebration, Anneliese and Max had another first look. This moment is one of the reasons I love photographing weddings. I met with Anneliese for a little walk, and we spontaneously chose one of the greenhouses for the moment. Then, Max walked toward her, and from that point on, everything was pure magic. The two of them carried this lightness and joy throughout the day, enjoying the delicious cake, spending time with their guests, and taking a few shots in between.

Munich has many beautiful locations, but I think the Botanikum is one of my favorites. It has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, offers lots of room for creative decoration, has fantastic spots for photoshoots, and the celebration can continue outdoors into the evening. The sun sets on that side of the venue, so you get great lighting in the evening. I also loved how colorful, clean, and unique the decorations were. Anneliese added personal touches with the flowers she picked herself, the stunning wedding cakes, and the bridesmaids’ dresses. By the way, the bridesmaids wore dirndls made from African fabric, each with a different design.

It was such a pleasure to accompany this couple on both their civil wedding and their celebration. As a wedding photographer in Munich, I’m all in for moments like these and celebrate you for having these beautiful memories forever.
